📍Palm Cove Beach
RAIN RAIN AND MORE RAIN!
It didn’t stop raining this day! It was terrential! We’d booked the tour for cape tribulation on this day and saved the sunny day for the Great Barrier Reef.
We spent most of the day on the coach rather disappointingly, it was a mixed age tour so it definitely wasn’t as enjoyable as the Uncle Brian’s tour.
We spent about 20 minutes in the Daintree Rainforest rushing back so we didn’t miss the coach!
The rest of the trip included a trip to Palm Cove beach, we didn’t spend much time here as the weather wasn’t exactly beach weather and up in Cairns you can’t go into the sea- unless you want to be mauled to death by crocodiles or stung by jellyfish!
Lastly, to finish the trip we went on a boat trip down the river to crocodile spot. We didn’t get the best sitings as the river was a high level from the rain and the go pro wasn’t very good at filming from a distance. We had to stay a good distance away from them also, a couple of girls had recently gone down to the river put one foot in and were killed in an instance!
